Running advice

Running is a sport that can easily be practiced with little equipment, just a good pair of shoes, comfortable clothing and sunscreen.  However, in order to safely practice this sport for a number of years, your muscles and joints need to be in optimum condition. We have physiotherapists who have received a certification in physiotherapy for runners, and who are runners themselves, who can offer you :

  • analysis and advice on your running technique
  • advice on the type of shoe to wear and how to progress your training to avoid injury
  • evaluation and treatment of running injuries
  • an individualised exercise program to help you gain strength and flexibility of key muscles and to improve your co-ordination
