CVCA (crime victims compensation act): Unfortunately, a physical attack such as getting hit, brutalized, tackled, etc. can happen to anyone. If you are the victim of such an attack, you should contact your physician in order to get physical therapy prescription. You must also make a request through the CNESST (CVCA department) to cover your treatment costs. You need to bring us the prescription and we will request to open a file with the CNESST for you. Once the file is accepted, you can begin your treatments, free of charge. If the pain is unbearable and your file is still being processed, you can begin treatments at your own cost. If the request is accepted by the CNESST, they will reimburse you; however, the reimbursement is impossible if the request is refused. At this point these fees can be claimed to your private insurance.
