Occupational therapy

The occupational therapist re-educates and rehabilitates through activity with the goal of autonomy. In the field of work rehabilitation, occupational therapy can respond to different mandates for issues affecting both mental and physical health: Exercise retraining to prepare for a return to work. A functional abilities assessment, as well as functional capacity development programs.

Occupational therapists are also trained to intervene in the evaluation of driving if abilities are affected by a health condition, as well as the evaluation for the application for a reduced mobility parking permit or for paratransit transportation. (STL).

All of our occupational therapists are members of the Order of Occupational Therapists of Quebec.
